Fire prevention and fighting skills instruction for 150 businesses and establishments in Hoang Mai

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 18, Fire Police Department No. 4 organized a fire prevention training course for more than 150 enterprises and liquefied gas production and trading establishments in Hoang Mai Town and surrounding areas.

During the practical program, students are instructed on how to use fire-fighting tools and equipment including: cloth, wet towels, fire extinguishers... to extinguish a fire when it is detected.

Through specific situations during the drill, the instructors introduced the usage and features of fire extinguishers and rudimentary firefighting tools, thereby helping agencies, businesses, production and business establishments, and local people to raise their fire prevention and fighting awareness. At the same time, they also propagated to officials, civil servants, employees, workers and people to raise their awareness of complying with the law on fire prevention and fighting.

The training course aims to equip trainees with basic knowledge on fire prevention and fighting, conditions and factors that cause fires and explosions, methods of handling fires and explosions, and mobilizing forces to participate in fire prevention and fighting, especially in large fires that are dangerous to property and people's lives.
