Single-handedly caused over 50 shocking robberies

At about 8:00 a.m. on March 15, 2016, Ms. Duong Thi Chi (born in 1982, residing in Nghia Phuong commune, Tu Nghia district) was driving a motorbike on Ton Duc Thang street, Tran Phu ward, Quang Ngai city when a subject driving a motorbike in the same direction approached, snatched her gold necklace of more than 2 taels, worth 6.5 million VND, and escaped.

The victims were mainly women. Senior Lieutenant Vo Thanh Phuong added: "From the beginning of 2015 until now, Hoang has "single-handedly" committed over 50 robberies in Quang Ngai City. To commit robberies, the subject used many motorbikes with different license plates."

According to Senior Lieutenant Phuong, Hoang brought the stolen gold necklaces to Hoa Kim Phuong gold shop at 58 Ngo Quyen street, Nguyen Nghiem ward, Quang Ngai city to sell.

Through a search at Hoang's residence, Quang Ngai City Police seized many related exhibits. They requested that victims of the robberies report to Quang Ngai City Police for resolution.
