Abu Sayyaf group vows to kill another Western hostage
According to AFP, the extremist Islamic group Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines announced that they will kill another Western hostage if the multi-million dollar ransom the group demands is not paid within four weeks.

In a video released by Abu Sayyaf, Canadian hostage Robert Hall and Norwegian Kjartan Sekkingstad are shown wearing orange shirts, surrounded by armed hooded men in a jungle setting.
The man said the kidnappers had threatened to kill at least one of them if they did not receive a ransom by June 13.
According to the caption of the video, published by the US-based SITE Intelligence Group, Abu Sayyaf demanded a ransom of 600 million pesos ($12.8 million).
