400 free porridge portions for poor patients

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 14, Tu Tam Charity Club coordinated with Chi Linh Pagoda (Yen Thanh) to organize the charity program "Bowl of love porridge" for poor patients.

Nutritious vegetarian porridge warms the hearts of poor patients.

The program distributed 400 free servings of porridge cooked from new rice, lotus seeds and many nutritious vegetables to disadvantaged patients at Yen Thanh District General Hospital.

The program is expected to be held once a month. All costs will be contributed by members of the Tu Tam Charity Club.

Venerable Thich Tue Minh visited and encouraged Nguyen Cong Luan's family.

On this occasion, the charity group also visited and supported 2 million VND for the family of Nguyen Cong Luan, son of Nguyen Cong Ly (Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh, Nghe An). Luan was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma in his abdomen half a year ago and was prescribed radiotherapy at K Hospital. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, he had surgery 4 days ago. Currently, the family's situation is very difficult and they need help from the community and society./.
