Students cut back on food money to go to Pleiku to cheer for Song Lam Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - Since 2011, Pleiku Stadium has always been vibrant with the presence of SLNA fans whenever the Nghe An team plays away. And this season is no exception, even though coach Ngo Quang Truong's team has not yet reached its best form.
Activities to cheer on the match between HAGL and SLNA on [date]April 24thThis event was not only organized by the SLNA Supporters' Club in the South, but also by other Southern hometown associations who hired vehicles to travel to Gia Lai. Accordingly, convoys of vehicles from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc... and even Da Lat were all packed with passengers.

Combined with people from Nghe An currently living and working in Gia Lai, it is expected that around 3,000 fans in yellow jerseys will liven up the stands at Pleiku Stadium.
Currently, the SLNA Supporters' Club and Bac A Bank have only reached a preliminary agreement to jointly organize matches at Binh Duong Stadium, Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City), Chi Lang Stadium (Da Nang), and Hang Day Stadium (Hanoi). Therefore, for SLNA matches at other stadiums, the supporters must cover 100% of the costs themselves, including transportation and cheering equipment.

Most of the SLNA fans participating in this trip are university and college students, so contributing 350,000 to 400,000 VND (excluding other incidental expenses) for a trip like this means they have to save up from the previous month or accept cutting back on food expenses the following month. However, because of their love for their hometown team, this is just a minor issue for them.
This afternoon, April 21st, SLNA traveled by air to Pleiku and have more than two days to prepare for their clash with host team HAGL this weekend.
