(Baonghean.vn) - April 7, Dien Chau districtwith Nghe An Border GuardOrganize the handover and reception ceremony of newly recognized coastal border communes according to Decree 71 of the Government.

The representative of the Provincial Border Guard Command presented the decision to assign the task of managing the maritime border area to Dien Thanh Border Post, witnessed by representatives of the leaders of Dien Chau district and the two communes of Dien Bich and Dien Ngoc.

Accordingly, Dien Chau received two more communes, Dien Ngoc and Dien Bich, into the maritime border area. These are two communes that are not adjacent to the coast, but are adjacent to the estuary through Lach Van and have a large number of fishermen operating at sea. Receiving the two communes into the maritime border area not only ensures the rights of the people but also actively contributes to the management of security activities at sea.

Up to now, Dien Chau district has 8 communes that are coastal border areas including: Dien Hung, Dien Hai, Dien Kim, Dien Thinh, Dien Trung, Dien Ngoc, Dien Bich and Dien Thanh.
