(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 1,000 boxes of cosmetics of unknown origin were seized by the Hung Nguyen District Police while being transported for sale.

On April 8th, on National Highway 1A, the Vinh bypass route, in Hung Thinh commune, the Traffic Police Team (Hung Nguyen District Police) spotted a truck with license plate 29C-12634 driven by Le Ngoc Hoang, born in 1984, residing in Xuan Lam - Tinh Gia (Thanh Hoa), traveling in the North-South direction, exhibiting suspicious behavior.

The lipstick and hair gel used for wigs were confiscated.

Upon stopping the vehicle for inspection, authorities discovered five cardboard boxes containing 720 boxes of unlabeled hair gel, 200 boxes of Matte Lipstick, five foreign-branded vacuum cleaners, and nearly 1,000 hair gel labels printed in Thai.

The entire shipment lacked any documentation proving its origin or any supporting invoices.

The traffic police team proceeded to draw up a report and temporarily seize the entire shipment, handing it over to the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team of Hung Nguyen Police for handling according to the law.
