(Baonghean.vn) - On May 13, the delegation of the Provincial Election Committee led by Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee had a program to inspect the election preparation work in two communes of Nghia Loc, Nghia Long, Nghia Son and Nghia Lam, Nghia Dan district.

The working group inspected the posting of the list of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Nghia Loc commune.

The working group of the Provincial Election Committee divided into 2 working groups to directly inspect 4 communes; Nghia Loc, Nghia Long, Nghia Son and Nghia Lam. The inspection showed that the direction of the election work in the localities was highly focused, ensuring requirements and progress.

Comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, member of the inspection team directly inspected the posting of the list of candidates and the list of voters in Nghia Son commune.

Localities have also focused on selecting experienced teachers and people with knowledge of information technology in schools to work as secretaries of election teams to ensure accurate and timely vote counting and updating of election results, as well as the use of information technology software in elections.

Comrade Cao Thi Hien inspected the preparation of ballot boxes and seals for the election in Nghia Loc commune.

Nghia Loc commune alone, with a large area, including 27 hamlets, stretching 18 km; a large population, including both ethnic minorities and Catholics, has tried to ensure all preparations for the election go smoothly.

Currently, the commune is directing organizations in the political system to strengthen their locality, grasp the difficult situation at the grassroots level to promptly resolve it; at the same time, continue to review the movement of voters who work at home to the locality and vice versa, ensuring the right to vote of voters.

The working group inspected the use of software to update information related to the election.

Through inspections at each polling station, Comrade Cao Thi Hien emphasized: There are only about 10 days left until the election day on May 22; this is the time of highest concentration of the entire political system and the time to decide the election results.

Therefore, localities are required to focus on reviewing conditions and facilities, seals, and ballot boxes, including proactively preparing additional ballot boxes to ensure that all voters have the right to vote.

The provincial inspection delegation worked with leaders of Nghia Long commune on election work.

Comrade Cao Thi Hien also requested that localities focus on effective propaganda work on the radio system and grassroots cadres. Pay attention to decorating and arranging voting areas scientifically, seriously, and conveniently for voters.
