(Baonghean.vn) - Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Auditor General of the State Audit Office, provided the above information at the Conference.Candidates for the 14th National Assembly and the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term held voter outreach sessions on the afternoon of May 5th to conduct their election campaigns.

Attending the conference were Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; and Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council.

After hearing summaries of the candidates' biographies, work experience, achievements, and action programs, the voters generally agreed with the content presented by the candidates.

Voters expect that candidates for the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, after being elected, will pay attention to the issues of drafting, supplementing, enacting, and enforcing laws; transparency; good management of public assets; and reducing public debt.

Voters also expect elected representatives to actively combat corruption; contribute to the implementation of educational streaming policies; and expedite the progress of several infrastructure projects in Vinh City…

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Auditor General of the State Audit Office - responded to the aspirations and recommendations of voters.

Responding to voters' opinions on behalf of the candidates for the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc affirmed that in his current position, he will focus on leading the auditing sector to provide effective advice to the Party and State leaders on transparency and good management of the national financial system.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc stated that the State Audit Office is currently auditing 187 cases nationwide, including the restructuring of the banking sector; and auditing 86 BOT toll stations across the country, with 14 toll stations audited this year.

Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, and candidate for the Provincial People's Council in electoral unit No. 2 - presented her action program.

Comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, candidate for National Assembly Deputy - presented his action program.

"The government is accelerating the restructuring and equitization of enterprises, and the State Audit Office is focusing on auditing this issue to ensure that asset valuations during the equitization process are not subject to losses; at the same time, it is auditing the budgets of provinces and districts...", the Auditor General emphasized.

Comrade Nguyen Van Lu, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee and candidate for the Provincial People's Council, presented his action program.

Voter Hoang Xuan Thuong expressed his opinion.

The conference, organized by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh City, Nghe An Province, was held at the Quan Bau Ward headquarters in Vinh City for 5 candidates for the 14th National Assembly from electoral unit No. 4 and 7 candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term from electoral unit No. 2 to conduct their election campaigns before voters.
