(Baonghean.vn) - Compared to the start of last season, this year SLNA is really making fans worried about the top 5 goal of the Nghe An team. Many other teams are preparing to strengthen their players for phase 2, however, SLNA will most likely keep the current personnel.

According to the regulations of the V.League 2016 National Football Championship, from June 1, 2016 to June 28, 2016, each team is allowed to replace a maximum of 3 players for phase 2. Teams that have not officially registered 30 eligible players in phase I will be allowed to add a maximum of 5 players in phase II; the maximum number of players of the team after addition is 30 players.

Currently, the number of SLNA Club's players registered with the V.League 2016 Organizing Committee is only 25, including 2 foreign players Odah Marshal and Baba Salia. SLNA Joint Stock Company General Director Nguyen Hong Thanh said that the team currently has no plans to recruit or increase personnel for phase 2. In the immediate future, the team will focus on improving performance and encouraging players to maximize their abilities.

In recent training sessions, “Khong Minh of Nghe An” also expressed his admiration for Saigon FC in their first time playing in V.League, instructing and encouraging SLNA players to play with all their heart and passion for the flag and pride of the fans.

In the case of striker Odah Marshal, who currently has 5/7 goals for SLNA, this striker is only on loan for 1 year, so at the end of the 2016 season, he will return home. The Nigerian player born in 1992 also shared that if nothing changes, he will return home to play with the hope of regularly wearing the national team jersey.

In this 8th round, SLNA will return to their home field to face Long An. This is not a difficult team for the Nghe An team, but the absence of Que Ngoc Hai due to a penalty card is a huge loss, especially in the context of central defender Manh Hung's declining form and 33-year-old defender Minh Duc often having to work 90 minutes in the past 7 matches.
