(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of May 15, Vinh University's Youth Union organized the final night and awarded prizes for the Contest to learn about the life, career and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh.

This time, the competition has 8 teams drawn into 2 groups and organized a group stage. The teams have to go through 4 rounds: Multiple choice test of knowledge, understanding, looking at pictures to guess events, and storytelling. The content of the rounds are all related to the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho and are related to studying and following the moral and ideological example of Uncle Ho among union members, youth and students today.

After the preliminary round, the jury selected 4/8 teams to participate in the final round from the faculties of Chemistry, Law, Political Education and History.In the final night, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Chemistry faculty team, the second prize to the Political Education faculty, the third prize to the History faculty and the encouragement prize to the Law faculty.

The contest is one of the activities to celebrate the 126th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19, 1890 - 2016), at the same time aiming to propagate and educate union members and youth about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh; promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology and moral example as well as effectively apply his thoughts to the study, training and striving of each student.
