Robbers drag woman to death while snatching handbag

The robbers failed to snatch the woman's handbag and dragged the victim on the street, causing her death.

On May 23, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with Nha Trang City to hunt down the group of suspects who caused the robbery that resulted in the death of Ms. Nguyen (32 years old).

According to her family, three days ago at noon, Ms. Nguyen was riding her scooter from Tran Phu to Vinh Luong. When she was about 100 meters from her home, a group of young men on two motorbikes in the same direction approached her and snatched her bag.

The woman lost control of the wheel and fell. "Unsuccessful in snatching her handbag, they dragged her about 5 meters, then sped away," a local resident recalled.

The victim was covered in blood and was taken to the emergency room by many people, but due to a traumatic brain injury, she died two days later.
