(Baonghean.vn) - The car got entangled in an electrical cable, so the driver turned off the engine and tried to remove the wire himself. Unfortunately, he was electrocuted by the high-voltage power line and died on the spot.

The incident occurred at approximately 3 PM on April 24th in Block 9, Long Son Ward, Thai Hoa Town. The driver of the container truck with license plate 15C-13161, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, residing in Nghia Khanh Commune, Nghia Dan District, Nghe An Province, drove into a section of road under construction.

When the vehicle became entangled in the power lines, Mr. Dung got out to remove the cables himself. However, due to the very close distance between the driver and the high-voltage power lines, an electric shock occurred, causing Mr. Dung to die instantly.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the leaders of Thai Hoa town and the Thai Hoa town police were present at the scene to investigate and clarify the matter.

Reportedly, Mr. Dung works as a hired driver for a business in Thai Hoa Town. He comes from a disadvantaged family and is unmarried with no children.
