Nghe An: Mountain boy writes software for human-computer interaction

(Baonghean.vn) -That is Tran Manh Cuong, class 11A1, Anh Son II High School, he just won first prize in creative software at the 22nd Nghe An province youth informatics competition.

Born into a family where his parents worked in electronics repair, Cuong had the opportunity to come into contact with electronic devices since he was young, so exploring and creating electronic products became his passion.

Living in the mountainous commune of Linh Son (Anh Son), every time he has a chance to go to the city, Cuong goes to bookstores to buy computer instruction books and then reads them online, searching and accumulating information for himself.

For 3 consecutive years from grade 9 to 11, Cuong participated in the provincial Youth Informatics Competition (creative software) and won first prize every time.

The 2015-2016 school year marked many outstanding achievements of Cuong with 3 major awards: First prize in Nghe An science and technology innovation, First prize in Nghe An youth informatics competition and Third prize in the national youth informatics competition and the favorite product award at the national science and technology competition.

This year, Cuong participated in the Nghe An Province Youth Informatics Competition with the software: Viet DE: The first operating system environment in Vietnam (The first human-computer interaction system in Vietnam). This is a software in the Set of utility application products for life.

Cuong shared: “Through this software, I want to emphasize national pride. What other countries in the world can do, Vietnamese people can do. Information technology has become an indispensable part of me, I will continue to pursue my passion for information technology and create information technology products that can be applied in practice.”
