Beautiful girl found love from the 'seed' of love in 2nd grade
After 12 years of studying apart and no news, Thuy unexpectedly met Khanh again through Facebook and her heart skipped a beat once again.
Thu Thuy and her lover Duy Khanh, both 25 years old. Their love story began when they were teenagers, when the class monitor had a crush on a new classmate..
Thu Thuy, a civil servant, said that at that time she was in grade 2. On the first day of the second semester, the homeroom teacher brought a male and a female student into the classroom and introduced them as new friends. "At that time, I was very cool, I wasclass monitor, sitting at the front desk. After the teacher finished speaking, I looked up and saw her shy, pursed-lip smile. At that moment, I smiled and showed my teeth (at that time I still had missing teeth). We were on the same wavelength right away", that image has been imprinted in Thuy's mind for many years.
In elementary school, Thuy and Khanh were close friends, often playing tag and playing house, pretending to be mother and daughter. After those times, Khanh called Thuy "older sister".- I really do. They didn't know anything about love yet but they both liked each other. Many times Khanh fought with other boys because they "dared" to like her.
"Back then, the class monitor or choir leader was often liked by the boys. I was the same. I remember one time she got into a fight with another boy until his nose bled because he liked me, and that was the homeroom teacher's son," Thuy said with a laugh.

Thuy and Khanh are engaged. |
Near the end of fourth grade, a turning point happened. The teacher announced that Khanh would be transferring out.Hanoi lives with his family and will no longer attend classes.
"That was it. I ran into the school restroom and stood there crying as if my mother had beaten me. After that day, I went home and cried. No one asked me. That afternoon, she left and I didn't dare to go see her off." Thuy said that even many years later, she still regretted her actions.
In 5th grade, Thuy still received two letters with the opening "Missing you, Thuy" from Khanh, along with a gift of a stuffed animal. But since entering 2nd grade, the school address changed, and the two lost contact from then on.
Thuy's high school years passed by smoothly, but deep down there was always a feeling of loss, of the absence of her little friend. The corner of the desk where she studied every day was covered with Khanh's name "NDK", sometimes even hearts. The young girl's diary, many pages in it were dedicated to remembering that figure.
When she went to university, Thuy left her hometown for the capital. At an age when her friends were in pairs, she dated someone, but they quickly broke up. On the dayFebruary 14, 2012, that day she was feeling sad because she was single, the young girl went online to see how her friends were going out and saw a photo of a friend, one of whom was tagged with the name "Khanh Nguyen".
"I was startled. It was exactly that face, that pursed-lip smile. It had been so long, but I still recognized it at first glance. I was 100% sure it was her. My heart was pounding. My hands were shaking as I scrolled through Facebook, unable to breathe," Thuy recounted.
After looking through the Facebook wall, she hesitated for a long time before taking the risk to text, "Hello Khanh, it's been a long time. Do you still remember me?"After a long wait, Khanh finally answered her the next evening, but his opening sentence made her surprised: "I'm so grown up now, I can't call you sister anymore.Thinking Khanh had changed, he texted again:"But how can I forget Thuy. Thuy is my first love."
Just by saying that, Thuy understood that the two of them could talk again. That night, they talked until morning, exactly like soul mates meeting again, exactly like old friends, exactly like people who like each other and are compensated... The two of them told each other all kinds of stories without any shyness at all.
"CThere is one special thing that both he and I have."I remember many memories from elementary school and maybe that's the thread that connects us," she confided.

Coincidentally, at the time they met again, both Khanh and Thuy had broken up with their lovers, so their love story happened naturally when they met again. |
The first day they met again, Khanh went to school to pick Thuy up from school. It was the first time they saw each other as adults, and although they thought they were already very close, they were still embarrassed. The boy from the past had become a tall, muscular young man, over 1m8 tall; and the strong class monitor from the past was now a pretty, shy young woman. Khanh took Thuy home without saying a word, even though they had both said they missed each other very much and really wanted to see each other again.
"When we got to the gate of my house, he just stood there, looking at me. We looked at each other, unable to say anything. In the end, he only dared to kiss me on the forehead to say goodbye," Thuy recalled.
From that day on, the two of them were inseparable. They fell in love to make up for the years of separation, through couple tattoos, traveling together across Vietnam, and experiencing the feeling of being inseparable. They wrote a whole youth of living their lives together.

Couples take care of their love by always reminding each other of the time and feelings when they are together. |
Thu Thuy shared that the most memorable memory in their love was the time they went on a motorbike trip. She tried driving but after a while, she fell quite badly. Because she lost a lot of blood, Thuy had to take sedatives to sleep. In the middle of the night, she woke up because she felt a drop of water falling on her hand. It turned out that Khanh stayed up all night holding her hand and crying because he felt sorry for his lover.
"The scar is still long and clear, it's like I lost my girl's leg, but I don't regret having spent a beautiful youth with him," the young girl said.
The couple is currently engaged. Thuy works in a government agency, while Khanh works in a family business. Instead of the habit of going to the movies or coffee shops like other couples, they spend a lot of time traveling together. For Thuy and Khanh, although work is hard, the time spent together and the feelings when together are always the top issues that both of them have to remind themselves.
Thuy thinks that lifewhich contains many surprises, she wants to share her story to inspire those who are bored and have lost faith in love. "Up until now, I have understood and completely believed in something called destiny. If it is fate, then keep the faith and we will definitely meet again."
