Nghe An: By 5:00 p.m., voter turnout reached over 92%

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 22, the election atmosphere at 3,788 polling stations across the province took place safely, democratically and in accordance with the law, with a high voter turnout rate. As of 5 p.m. the same day, over 92% of voters on the list in the province had finished voting.

The polling station in Tung Huong village, Tam Quang, Tuong Duong, has 507 voters, of which 262 are female. This is a village where 100% of the Thai Tay Pong Co ethnic group lives.

Of these, 114 communes and 2,026/3,788 voting groups achieved 100% of voters on the list who had finished voting. Communes with ethnic minorities, although coinciding with the holiday, had over 80% of voters go to the polls in many places.

Particularly at Election Team No. 8, Dien Hai Commune, Dien Chau District, 100% of Catholics had finished voting at 2:15 p.m. the same day.
