Klopp calls on 100,000 Liverpool fans to go to Basel
The German coach wants fans to turn red the city hosting this season's Europa League final.
Liverpool once again created an emotional night at Anfield by beating Villarreal 3-0. The result was enough to send Liverpool into the final, despite losing the first leg 1-0.
"We're going to Basel. 50,000, 60,000, 70,000 Liverpool fans will follow us. And maybe 100,000. Not into the stadium, but into the city. You're all invited.", Jurgen Klopp called. "Basel is a beautiful city, close to my hometown. Let's go there together, create a crazy atmosphere. We will play our best again."

Liverpool have not reached a European Cup final since 2007. And this is Liverpool's second final since Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers. In February, Liverpool lost to Man City in the League Cup.
"It was a fantastic night. It was an excellent game for us. The energy, the performance, the spirit, everything was very emotional," said the German coach. "The first 30 minutes were full of emotion. Then they lost their patience in the last 15 minutes of the first half. So our plan for the second half was to play with emotion but with more brains. And finally the goals came."
In the final, Liverpool will meet Sevilla, the team that won the Europa League in the last two seasons.
Liverpool will qualify for the Champions League if they beat Sevilla on May 18.
