Revealing the unique Porsche 718 Boxster in Vietnam

The Porsche 718 Boxster is a new generation of convertible sports cars that the German automaker has just launched. The car is 4,379 mm long, 1,801 mm wide and 1,281 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,475 mm.

The sports car has a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a capacity of 300 horsepower and a maximum torque of 380 Nm at 1,950-4,500 rpm. Acceleration from 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds.The manufacturer announced an average fuel consumption of 9 liters/100 km for mixed roads.

The 718 Boxster comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, while the PDK dual-clutch automatic is optional. Porsche has also upgraded the electric power steering and suspension. The optional PASM package lowers the center of gravity by about 10 mm.

The interior features the new Porsche Communication Management infotainment system with standard touchscreen, navigation optional.

Recently, Porsche changed the name of its Boxster sports car to 718 Boxster to honor the breakthroughs of the Porsche 718 from 1957 and recall the company's history of horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engines.
