Nghe An: Using nude photos to blackmail lover for 10 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - Duong used intimate photos of himself and his lover to blackmail and threatened to post the photos on social media if they were not given.

Quynh Luu District Police said that the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute Nguyen Khanh Duong (born in 1990, residing in Hamlet 9, Quynh Thuan Commune, Quynh Luu District) for the crime of "Extortion of property".

In early December 2015, Nguyen Khanh Duong met Ms. Tran Thi H., residing in Quy Hop district, Nghe An through the social network Zalo. In March 2016, Duong and Ms. H. arranged to meet in Quy Hop, Duong secretly used his phone to take pictures of the intimate scene between the two.

At the end of April 2016, Duong called Ms. H. and asked her to give him 10 million VND or he would post the photos on social media. Ms. H. quickly prepared the money and arranged to meet Duong in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district. However, on April 25, while receiving money from Ms. H., Nguyen Khanh Duong was caught red-handed by the police.
