Although she is 100 years old, Ida Keeling, from New York (USA), is not inferior to any young person, and is even more flexible and healthy than many people.

The proof is that at the Penn Relays world athletics tournament in Philadelphia, USA on Saturday (April 30), she broke the women's 100m record for the 80 and over age group with a time of 1 minute 17.33 seconds.

The old lady’s achievement has left many people amazed and impressed. However, this is not the first time Ms. Keeling has participated in an international running competition. In 2011, she achieved the best result in her age group when she completed the 60m run in 29.86 seconds. Or in 2015, she broke the record for the 100m run in 59.8 seconds.

Shelley Keeling, Ida Keeling’s daughter, said her mother started running at the age of 67 and has continued to do it ever since. In addition to running, Keeling can also do sit-ups and push-ups.

'Love yourself, do what you have to do, not what you want to do. Eat nutritious food, not just for taste, and exercise at least once a day,' Keeling 'revealed' the secret to longevity on NBC.

It is known that this old lady will celebrate her 101st birthday in the next few weeks.
