The railway accident occurred at 7:30 p.m. on June 18, on the North-South railway line passing through Hamlet 5, Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City. The Kia Morning car with license plate 37D - 00408, driven by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuyen, was driving from National Highway 1A and turned into a residential road crossing in Nghi Lien Commune.
