Face won the Special Prize for Creativity of Nghe An Children and Youth 2016

(Baonghean.vn) - Surpassing 42 products to enter the final round of the Nghe An Youth and Children's Creativity Contest 2016, Tran Manh Cuong, a student of class 11A1 at Anh Son 2 High School, won the special prize with the topic VietDE - the first human-computer interactive operating system environment in Vietnam.

Comrade Tran Cong Duong, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations, awarded a special prize to the creative work of Tran Manh Cuong.

Tran Manh Cuong shared that he has been passionate about scientific creation since he was a child. When he was only 14 years old, in 8th grade, he started writing software. His first product was the Mtc studyOS software - Learning application management system. Up to now, Cuong has had nearly 50 software in his hands, and the special thing is that his software has won prizes in IT competitions for students from 2013-2016.

Cuong shared: although it was summer vacation, his homeroom teacher and classmates still supported him in completing his products.

Teacher Nguyen Anh Dung, Principal of Anh Son 2 High School, acknowledged that Cuong's Viet DE operating system is highly applicable and very useful for school activities, and the school will apply this software to teaching activities in the next school year.

This year, Cuong participated in the 22nd Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition and the 2016 Nghe An Youth and Children's Creativity Competition with the software: Viet DE: the first operating system environment in Vietnam. This is a software in the Suite of utility application products for life. The above application is designed to operate on multiple platforms on mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets... This software integrates many functions to help users use resources on the system, such as learning English through songs; Entering formulas to quickly draw graphs; sharing and easily searching for mathematical formulas... Cuong admits that currently his Viet DE software still lacks many functions, so it is being maintained and upgraded to provide the best solutions for users.

Because his parents work in electronics repair, after school hours, Cuong often helps his father, studying and working at the same time to supplement his practical knowledge.
