Parade in response to Drug Prevention Action Month

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 24, Quynh Luu organized a ceremony to launch the month of action to prevent and combat drugs and the national day to prevent and combat drugs (June 26).

At the launching ceremony, leaders of 33 communes and towns in the district signed a commitment to effectively implement the peak month of drug prevention according to the proposed content.

More than 500 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members, representatives of leaders and organizations of 33 communes and towns attended the launching ceremony.

To contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and action programs on drug prevention, at the ceremony, the district leaders requested that party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, organizations, schools, and armed forces join hands to promote the propaganda work to fight against drugs to the community and each family; improve the effectiveness of drug control, regularly launch attacks, eliminate complex drug hotspots, and contribute to curbing the increase of drug-related crimes. At the same time, call on and mobilize the entire population to participate in the fight against and denounce all illegal acts, buying, selling, transporting, storing, and organizing the illegal use of drugs. Thereby, gradually pushing back drug crimes and evils in the area.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces participated in a parade of nearly 30 km to respond to the month of action against drugs and the national day against drugs on June 26.

After the launching ceremony, more than 500 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members, representatives of leaders and mass organizations of 33 communes and towns organized a parade from the center of Cau Giat town to Quynh Chau with a length of nearly 30km to respond to the month of action against drugs and the international day, the national day against drugs (June 26).
