At the international exhibition of weapons and equipment for special forces SOFEX-2016 in Amman, a number of pirated copies of Russian weapons were identified, which some countries are selling under their own labels.

This was stated by the head of the Security Department of "Rosoboronexport" Valery Varlamov.
"It should be noted that at the Jordan exhibition Russia presented not only small arms and equipment for special forces, but also heavy weapons. At the exhibition, we once again confirmed that there is unfair competition: at the stand of the country, which I will not name, there were even products of our production and our labels," Sputnik quoted Varlamov as saying.
Mr. Varlamov also said that there was no official statement of protest at the moment, but Russia would fight unscrupulous arms exporters and "not leave this alone."
In an official press release, "Rosoboronexport" said that foreign customers have expressed strong interest in the export version of the Su-34 fighter-bomber, the "Vena" self-propelled artillery system, the T-90MS and BTR-82A tanks and the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle.
