10th National Press Awards: 8 works won A prize
Of the 94 outstanding press works, 8 won A prizes; 26 won B prizes; 41 won C prizes and 19 won Encouragement prizes.

On June 4, information from the Final Jury of the 10th National Press Awards 2015, after a period of urgent, serious and fair work, the Final Jury selected 94 excellent press works to award prizes out of a total of 142 works that entered the final round.
Of these, 8 works won A prizes; 26 works won B prizes; 41 works won C prizes and 19 works won Encouragement prizes.
In general, the quality of central and local press works has improved and is relatively even. However, there are still not many truly excellent works in the field of print commentary and press photography.
The Organizing Committee will hold a press conference to provide general information about the 10th National Press Awards 2015. The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of this year's National Press Awards will still be held on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21.
This year, the National Press Awards continued to receive enthusiastic responses from all levels of Associations nationwide with 169 levels of Associations and individuals participating in 11 categories of awards. This year's Awards had the highest number of provincial and municipal Journalists Associations participating since the first Awards with 61/63 provincial and municipal Journalists Associations participating. The number of press agencies and collaborators also increased, including 207 collaborators.
Although the number of photojournalistic works was not as high as expected, it still reached more than 100 works. The 142 works that made it to the final round were all typical works, with discovery, vividly reflecting all aspects of life, focusing on reflecting the country's major issues, actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the country, with good quality in terms of form of expression.../.
