(Baonghean.vn) - With the enthusiasm of youth, daring to think and act, To Duy Binh, a member of the Youth Union in Hamlet 1/5, Cam Son Commune, Anh Son District, has achieved success. His integrated livestock farming model generates an income of over 200 million VND per year.
To Duy Binh, a member of the Youth Union, shared his story: Born in 1985, after finishing high school, he attended a vocational school in Hai Duong and worked at the Bai Phu tea factory for a while. Finding the job unstable, he applied for overseas employment in Russia. He worked various jobs to make a living, but the desire to return to his homeland to build a life and establish himself in his birthplace motivated him to return after two years of wandering. His life was filled with hardship and bitterness, working various jobs just to earn a living. But those years gave him the willpower and determination to build his career as it is today.

Recalling his early days of starting his business, Mr. Binh shared: "The beginning was truly difficult and arduous, but with youthful energy, determination, and diligent learning, I succeeded. In 2015, I boldly invested in developing a farm economic model, using my initial capital and borrowing over 200 million VND to build a system of barns and develop a comprehensive livestock farming model including pigs, wild boars, chickens, and goats."

Mr. Binh's integrated livestock farm system is self-contained. With an area of 5,000 m2, he has scientifically arranged and planned the farm. On 300 m2, he built 9 pens for raising pigs (both fattening and breeding), and constructed a sturdy fence system for raising laying hens, broiler chickens, and ducks. Currently, his family owns 6 breeding cows, 20 goats, 10 breeding sows, 150 fattening pigs, and 200 laying hens and broiler chickens, generating an income of 170 to 220 million VND per year.

Not only is he skilled in economic development, but as a Party member and Youth Union branch secretary, he always sets a leading example in all areas of work for the masses to follow. He regularly promotes and encourages Youth Union members and young people to actively participate in emulation movements launched by the higher-level and local Youth Union organizations; he is always ready to help and share his experiences so that rural youth can establish themselves, build careers, and legitimately become wealthy.
To Duy Binh is the only Youth Union member from Anh Son district nominated for the Luong Dinh Cua Award in 2016.
