Over 200 households in Nghi Loc pledge not to use banned substances in livestock farming
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to create conditions for livestock households to provide the market with products that ensure food safety, the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district directed 30 communes and towns to organize households to sign a commitment not to use banned substances in livestock farming.
Nghi Loc district currently has 208 livestock and poultry farms. Of these, 33 households raise large-scale livestock from 1,000 heads or more; 84 households raise livestock and 91 households raise poultry (medium-scale from 20 to 1,000 heads).

After nearly a week of simultaneous implementation, up to now, 30/30 communes and towns in the district have completed organizing 208 livestock households to sign a commitment to safe livestock farming; not using banned substances in livestock farming. Along with that, the communes will coordinate with specialized departments to regularly inspect and supervise to ensure that livestock households comply with the signed commitments.
