Con Cuong District People's Council elected key positions
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 5, the People's Council of Con Cuong district, term XIX, 2016-2021, held its first session to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district.
At the meeting, delegates approved reports on election results of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term; and reports on confirmation of qualifications of district People's Council deputies.

As a result, Mr. Hoang Dinh Tuan - Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Council, term 2016 - 2021; Mr. Dao Xuan Thanh - Member of the District Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee and Mr. Lu Van Bich - Member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, term 2011-2016 held the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX, term 2016 - 2021.
Mr. Vi Van Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term. Ms. Kha Thi Tim and Mr. Lo Van Thao were re-elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee with 100% of the votes.

The session also elected the People's Jury of the People's Court. The new point of this year's session is the decision to establish an Ethnic Committee.
In the afternoon of the same day, the meeting approved the results of synthesizing voters' opinions, implementing socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in the first 6 months and solutions for the last 6 months of the year; finalizing the 2015 budget; the reports of the District People's Committee, planning to decide on the establishment of People's Council delegations; and organizing discussions to issue the Resolution of the meeting.
