Giving gifts to poor households in Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 13th, the youth group of Tia Nang Club (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) organized a gift-giving event for poor families and students in Xop Tip village (Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district).

Representatives from the Tia Nang Club presented gifts to support students in Xop Tip village (Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district).

The gifts included 1,000 notebooks, 500 pens, some blankets and mosquito nets, and candies, totaling 16 million VND, which were given to 10 families in extremely difficult circumstances and children in Xop Tip village. The team also cleaned public facilities in Muong Tip commune such as water tanks and community centers.

This activity is part of the 2016 summer volunteer campaign of the Tia Nang Youth Club, aiming to bring the energy of youth to ethnic minority communities in mountainous districts and share their difficulties. The group plans to organize the "Warm Winter for Children" program in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, in November.
