630 million to support the charity fund "For poor patients"

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to help poor patients and patients in difficult circumstances being treated at Nghe An General Hospital, the leaders of Saigon Binh Tay Beer Joint Stock Company donated to the fund "For poor patients".

With the spirit of mutual love, looking towards the homeland, wishing to ease the pain of the unfortunate lives with serious illnesses, on July 11, in Vinh city, Mr. Van Thanh Liem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Binh Tay Beer Joint Stock Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabeco Song Lam Packaging Company donated 500 million VND to the "For Poor Patients" Fund for treatment at Nghe An General Hospital.

More than 3,000 charity meals were delivered to poor patients being treated at Nghe An General Hospital.

Also on July 11, joy continued to come to patients in difficult circumstances when the Charity Fund received 100 million from a company in Dien Chau and 30 million contributed by Venerable Thich Tho Lac, abbot of Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan district).

The charity fund for poor and disadvantaged patients at Nghe An General Hospital is maintained from contributions from staff, employees, doctors and nurses in the hospital and the active support of organizations, individuals, philanthropists, and charity boxes. The fund has provided thousands of "Charity Meals"; supported treatment costs for patients in especially difficult circumstances such as: kidney transplants, open heart surgery, and supported treatment costs for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers...

This is not only an activity to help poor patients have the opportunity to receive treatment but also has great humanitarian significance for the community towards people with difficult circumstances in life.
