Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh re-elected Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Council

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 25, the 19th term People's Council of Thanh Chuong district, 2016-2021 term, held its first session to elect key positions of the 19th term People's Council and People's Committee.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Van Mao - National Assembly Delegate - Standing member of the Provincial People's Council, and standing members of the Thanh Chuong District Party Committee.

At the meeting, delegates heard the District Election Committee report on the election results and the confirmation of the qualifications of 44 District People's Council delegates for the 2016-2021 term and conducted the election of the positions of the People's Council and People's Committee.

Vote to elect positions

Result: Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX; Ms. Le Thi Hong Thiet - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, continued to be elected as Vice Chairman of the District People's Council;

Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh - Head of the District Internal Affairs Department was elected Vice Chairman of the 19th People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Que - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district for the 2011 - 2016 term was elected to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term;

Awarding comrades with achievements in election work.

The Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term, including Nguyen Huu Hien, Trinh Van Nha, and Le Dinh Thanh, continued to be elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term. The meeting also elected the heads and deputy heads of the Socio-Economic Committee, the Legal Committee, and the Ethnic Minorities Committee; elected 13 members of the District People's Committee; and elected people's judges.

At the meeting of Thanh Chuong District People's Council, the work of electing the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels was also summarized. Accordingly, the election was well directed by the leaders, implemented in accordance with the law, the correct procedures and was a great success. The District People's Committee awarded 36 collectives and 39 individuals with outstanding achievements.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vinh - Chairman of the District People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Van Que - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and leaders of the District People's Committee, spoke, promising to use all their abilities and capacities to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the District People's Council and voters.
