Nguyen Ngo Kieu Trang, a 12th grader at Thanh Chuong 1 High School, has just finished her high school program along with 16 other 12th graders at the school and is receiving a special joy: joining the party, becoming one of the youngest members of the school's Party Committee. Trang is known to be a class cadre, a continuous all-round excellent student, and an active and exemplary role model.

Nguyen Ngo Kieu Trang and Nguyen Ly are just two of 42 high school students who have just received a decision from the Thanh Chuong district Party Committee and have had a ceremony to admit new party members organized by the grassroots party committees and branches.

Of these 42 Party members, Thanh Chuong 1 High School Party Committee has the honor of having 16 people, Thanh Chuong 3 High School Party Committee has 14 people, and Dang Thai Mai High School Party Committee has 8 people. All students admitted to the Party this time are in grade 12, have a good training process and have high academic results.
To effectively carry out the work of admitting new Party members, Thanh Chuong District Party Committee issued Resolution No. 13 NQ/HU dated June 28, 2012 "on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations in the period of 2011-2015 and the following years". It requires "each rural Party cell to admit at least 1 young Party member each year, and agencies, units, and schools to pay attention to training young people to admit to the Party".
Implementing the Resolutions, in recent years, at the beginning of each school year, the school Party Committees have issued Resolutions to unify targets. Considering the implementation of targets for recruiting new Party members and student Party members as a competition criterion.
Through the process of implementing the movement, the students' efforts have been improved, becoming a driving force in the implementation of tasks, especially in teaching and learning.

If in 2013 - the first year of implementing the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee, the whole district admitted 302 party members, of which 272 were young party members and only 7 were new students, then in 2014, 32 were admitted, and in 2015, 37 were admitted. In the first 5 months of 2016, the whole district admitted 165 party members, of which 42 were new party members who were students at high schools.
From practice, Mr. Le Xuan Huong - Principal, Party Secretary of Thanh Chuong 1 High School said: "The training and admission of many party members who are students is one of the achievements of the party committee, but that does not mean that the quality is underestimated. We must adhere to the principles and consider carefully in training. To be admitted to the party, students must achieve excellent results in all aspects. The school had a class monitor who was very good at studying but was not comprehensive in other areas of work, so he was not admitted." |
