Nghi Loc: prosecuted and detained two subjects for storing and trading drugs

(Baonghean.vn) - Through patrol and control work, Nghi Loc District Police arrested two cases of two subjects storing and trading drugs.

On the afternoon of July 4, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency announced that it had initiated a case and decided to temporarily detain Nguyen Nhat Xo (born in 1993), residing in Block 7, Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town, for the act of storing and trading drugs.

Previously, at 12 noon on June 26, in the Ru Hang area of ​​Khanh Dong hamlet, Nghi Khanh commune, the Nghi Loc district police working group discovered and arrested two subjects using crystal meth.

Here, the police seized a set of tools for using crystal meth and a package of crystal meth in use. Through the struggle, the two subjects confessed to buying crystal meth from Nguyen Nhat Xo (born in 1993), residing in Block 7, Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town - a long-time addict with no job. At 4:00 p.m. the same day, the police investigation agency issued an emergency arrest warrant for Nguyen Nhat Xo and searched the subject's residence. Here, the police seized 5 packages of crystal meth, weighing 0.5 grams and 1 mobile phone.

Then, also during patrolling, at 6:00 p.m. on June 28, in hamlet 11, Nghi My commune, on National Highway 48E (old provincial road 534), the Nghi Loc district police working group discovered two young men, including: Vo Trong Quyen (born 1994) residing in hamlet 8, Nghi Cong Bac commune and Nguyen Trong Luong (born 1992) residing in hamlet 10, Nghi My commune, showing suspicious signs.

Upon inspection, the task force discovered a package of heroin weighing 1.13 grams on Vo Trong Quyen’s person. The police also seized a motorbike and 15,000 VND. Upon investigation, Nghi Loc police prosecuted Vo Trong Quyen for drug possession. Nguyen Trong Luong was involved in drug use and was sent to a rehabilitation center.
