Repairing and restoring the degraded road system in Do Luong

Voters of Do Luong district reflect: DNhan - Dai Son and Khuon - Dai Son road projects are too narrow, have too much traffic, and are degraded. We request the province and related sectors to support solutions.

Khuon-Dai Son road has many narrow and degraded sections.

Reply:

- The investment project to build the Nhan Son - Dai Son traffic road, Do Luong district has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for adjustment in Decision No. 5187/QD.UBND-CN dated October 30, 2010 with a total investment of 47.5 billion VND, with a length of 14.271 km. The project started in December 2011, and has so far only completed the foundation, road surface and works on the route from Km0+00 to Km3+300; 7/55 remaining culverts. Currently, the foundation, road surface and works on the route are continuing to be constructed. The capital allocated for the project to date is 9,873 million VND, reaching nearly 16% of the total investment. In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the Department of Planning and Investment and the People's Committee of Do Luong district to actively attract capital sources, as well as focus on directing the removal of obstacles, urging the construction unit to speed up the progress, and soon complete and put the project into operation.

The narrow road, heavy trucks carrying soil, rocks and raw materials often run, making the Khuon-Dai Son road more degraded.

- The project to repair and upgrade the Khuon Son - Dai Son road in Do Luong district has been approved by the People's Council of Nghe An province in Decision No. 94/QD-HDND dated October 30, 2015 with a total estimated investment of VND 80,000 million, implementation period of 5 years from the central budget supporting the target program under the Program to support socio-economic development in regions for the period 2016-2020. However, the route has now been upgraded by the Ministry of Transport to Highway 7B, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the Department of Transport (management unit) to work with the Ministry of Transport to arrange funding to repair and upgrade the section.
