Accordingly, the Party Committee has directed the good implementation of medical examination and treatment, disease prevention, implementation of national target programs, food hygiene and safety, HIV/AIDS prevention, etc.

The results achieved are: The project "Improving the quality of medical examination and treatment in Nghe An province in the period of 2013-2020" continues to be promoted; Human resource training associated with the development of medical technical expertise is enhanced, consolidating new techniques such as kidney transplantation, heart surgery, cranial neurosurgery, cardiovascular intervention and open heart surgery... At the same time, solutions to reduce hospital overload, "Innovating the style and service attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction" are effective.

Kidney transplant surgery has become a routine technique at the Provincial General Hospital and is constantly being improved.

In the first 6 months of 2016, the health sector has been proactive in preventing and fighting infectious diseases, detecting early the first cases, and proactively handling the epidemic to prevent it from developing and spreading. National health target programs have achieved positive results. HIV/AIDS prevention and control has achieved important results. Up to now, there have been 12 Methadone treatment facilities with 1,739 patients, 25 HIV/AIDS care and treatment facilities with 3,738 patients receiving ARV treatment. Family planning and food safety work has received attention and focus.

Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Health disseminated the Party's directives and resolutions to party members and cadres.

In the last 6 months of 2016, the Party Committee of the Department of Health continued to direct the review and supplementation of targets of Party Congresses at all levels, propose solutions to effectively implement programs, projects, political tasks, and professional tasks to ensure progress and quality; Promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle associated with "Innovation in the style and service attitude of medical staff, towards patient satisfaction".

At the preliminary review session, the Party Committee of the Department of Health approved the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Party; Implement Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; Resolution 02 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on rotation and transfer of Party members, leaders and managers for the period 2016-2020.
