Nghe An Publishing House has a new governing body

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 6, Nghe An Publishing House held a ceremony to announce the change of governing body and meet with outstanding collaborators in 2016.Attending were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

With the consent of the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the consensus in policy of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, on May 26, 2016, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2328 to convert Nghe An Publishing House managed by the Department of Information and Communications to the management of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

Nghe An Publishing House, formerly Nghe Tinh Publishing House, was established in September 1980. From its establishment until 2001, it was a public service unit under the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. In 2001, Nghe An Publishing House was assigned to the Department of Culture and Information (now the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) for management. In 2007, the unit was transferred to the Department of Information and Communications.

After 36 years of establishment and growth, Nghe An Publishing House has published more than 4,000 books, many of which have been honored with many awards in and outside the province.
