Final and award ceremony of the contest 'Beauty of the coastal city'

(Baonghean.vn) – On the evening of July 8, at Binh Minh Square – Cua Lo town, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Cua Lo town People's Committee, Tien Phong Newspaper, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the final night and award the prize of the contest "Beauty of the coastal city".

Attending the final round and awarding ceremony were comrades: Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Nguyen Nam Dinh - Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sponsors.

The contest's jury includes: actor Minh Tiep - Head of the jury; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Deputy Judge;Meritorious Artist Bui Xuan Loc,Runner-up Nguyen Thuy Van, journalist Trung Hien, Ms. Ha Thi Phuong Hien, Ms. Vu Thi Hong Van are members of the jury.

15 beautiful and talented contestants present at the final and award ceremony of the "Beauty of the coastal city" contest will participate in 4 rounds to find the 3 most beautiful faces to participate in the "Miss Vietnam 2016" contest.

The 2016 Cua Lo Beach Beauty Contest is an event in the series of Nghe An tourism activities in 2016, aiming to promote the potential, beauty of historical and cultural resources and people of Nghe An. The contest was held for the first time with the theme "Confidence, Convergence and Shine".

Contestants are Vietnamese young women aged 18 to 27, living, studying, working and laboring in Nghe An province; Nghe An young women (or people with hometown in Nghe An) currently living, studying, working and laboring in schools, agencies, units, enterprises and localities in provinces and cities across the country and the world.

The preliminary round had 70 contestants. After 3 rounds (body index, communication skills index, stage performance index, catwalk), the organizing committee selected 28 contestants to enter the final round.

Within the framework of the competition, 28 finalists were trained, improved and perfected their performance and communication skills; and participated in meaningful social activities such as volunteering for "Making the sea cleaner" and exchanging "Gratitude for Youth" at Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center.

In the final round, 28 contestants went through 4 competitions: Vietnamese Ao Dai, Miss Sea (swimsuit), Evening gown - optional costume and Talent. At the end of the final round, the Organizing Committee selected 15 excellent contestants to enter the final night, awarding prizes.

At the final night of the "Beach City Beauty" contest, 15 contestants will continue to go through 3 rounds of Vietnamese Ao Dai; Beach Beauty (swimsuit), Evening gown - optional costume to select 5 contestants for the behavioral round.

In the behavioral round, 5 contestants will randomly draw lots to choose the judge to ask them questions. Based on the results of the behavioral round and the summary of the results of the previous rounds, the Organizing Committee will award the titles: Third Miss, Second Miss and Miss Beach City 2016. The Top 3 of the "Beach City Beauty" contest 2016 will have the opportunity to go straight to the final round of the "Miss Vietnam 2016" contest.

A large audience from inside and outside the province came to witness the final night.

All 15 contestants attending the final night and awarding ceremony were awarded certificates and gifts from the Organizing Committee; MTS Vietnam Company sponsored a free 2-month modeling course in Hanoi.
