More than 700 people attend the course 'Nurturing lotus seeds'

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the success of previous retreats, the retreat with the theme "Nurturing lotus buds" by the Buddhist Guidance Board of Nghe An province officially opened on the evening of July 10, at Chi Linh Pagoda (Gam Pagoda), Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

This year's "Nurturing Lotus Seeds" retreat attracted the participation of nearly 700 monks aged 14-25 from pagodas in the province, 60 volunteers and more than 40 Buddhists serving the retreat.

The retreat took place over 6 days (from July 10-15). The students were taught about Buddhist ethics and filial piety. Through the activities in the retreat program, the students had the opportunity to exchange and learn, helping them to become more mature, while also training them to be responsible for themselves, their families and society.

It is known that this is the 4th retreat organized by the Provincial Buddhist Guidance Committee, funded by socialization, in which the main sponsor is Ton Hoa Sen Group.
