When passing through Dan Quyen commune (Trieu Son district), the passenger car suddenly collided head-on with a motorbike going in the opposite direction driven by Mr. Do Khac Ngoan (45 years old, resident of Dan Ly commune, Trieu Son district) carrying his daughter Do Thi Huong (19 years old).

After the strong collision, the motorbike was thrown into the field. The passenger car swerved, ran over the man on the motorbike and crashed into a field beside the road. The girl sitting behind was slightly injured.

The bus driver and his wife were also seriously injured and were in a state of shock. The victims were quickly taken to the hospital by local residents for emergency treatment. However, Mr. Ngoan, the most seriously injured person, died.

The motorbike was stuck deep in the mud.

At the scene, the bus’s brake marks stretched 20 meters, and many milestones were knocked down. The motorbike was crushed and lying deep in the mud, while the bus’s side was damaged and it lay upside down in the middle of the field.

According to local police, the car was purchased by the owner only 2 months ago. At the time of the accident, Mr. Ngoan was taking his daughter to take the final exam of the 2016 National High School Exam.
