Training in 4-5 star hotel management skills in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 7th, a training course on management for 4-5 star hotels in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces was inaugurated. The course was organized by the EU Project Management Board in coordination with the Hotel Department - Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Attending the opening ceremony of the course were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Deputy Director of the Hotel Department, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; and Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province.

At the training course, 20 participants, all managers from 4- and 5-star hotels in the two provinces, will exchange ideas with expert Eddie Lim from the EU Project on important skills in hotel management. Within the framework of the 3-day training program (June 7-9), 11 skills will be discussed as discussion topics. These include prominent topics such as: Hotel standards and customer expectations, Room service, Brand building, Financial management, Leadership skills, etc.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, affirmed: Improving the management skills of hotels, especially 4-5 star hotels, is essential to enhancing the quality of resort and tourism services. This contributes to the development of the tourism industry in particular and the socio-economic development of the province in general.
