The leader of Phuc Yen Town Police said that when the suspect is arrested, the unit will inform the press. After the incident, the victim as well as the bus company went to the police station to report.

Previously, a Facebook account named D.D.C posted a 2-minute clip showing a subject using a syringe to threaten passengers on a bus running from Hanoi to Tuyen Quang.

Through discussion with the victim, the reporter determined that at the time the subject committed the robbery, the passenger bus of Phuc Tien bus company was running through Phuc Yen town (Vinh Phuc).

Immediately after the incident, the owner of Phuc Tien bus company - Ms. Le Thi Yen said that the passenger who was extorted did not report the incident to the driver and bus attendant.

“Maybe the passenger was too scared to report it. Our bus company has been operating for nearly 20 years, and our drivers are very experienced. If the passenger had reported it in time, such an unfortunate incident would not have happened,” said Ms. Yen.

Currently, all details are being actively clarified by the investigation agency.
