The map service of technology company Yandex, the largest search engine in Russia and the fourth largest in the world, has recognized the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos as belonging to Vietnam's sovereignty.

If you use the Yandex Maps service (at the addresshttps://yandex.com/maps/) and search for Vietnamese place names, when the results are returned, it will delimit all areas belonging to Vietnamese territory, including both Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

Yandex Maps hiển thị bản đồ Việt Nam, những vùng khoanh đỏ, bao gồm cả quân đảo Hoàng Sa và Trường Sa, là những lãnh thổ của Việt Nam
Yandex Maps shows a map of Vietnam, the red circled areas, including the Paracel and Spratly Islands, are Vietnamese territories.

Not stopping there, if you search for the place names "Hoang Sa" or "Truong Sa", Yandex Maps will give a list of suggested results, which once again affirm Vietnam's sovereignty over these two archipelagos on the Yandex map service, in which for the Hoang Sa archipelago, Yandex will provide information that this is an island district of Da Nang city, while for the Truong Sa archipelago, it will clearly show that this is an island district of Khanh Hoa province.

Thông tin gợi ý cho thấy Trường Sa là huyện đảo của Khánh Hòa.
Suggestive information shows that Truong Sa is an island district of Khanh Hoa.

Following the ruling of the International Court of Arbitration rejecting the legality and historical rights of China's "nine-dash line" claim throughout the East Sea, information displayed on the Yandex map service once again affirms Vietnam's indisputable ownership of the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

In addition to the Yandex Maps map service, other major online map services such as Google Maps or Here Maps currently do not show the ownership of the two archipelagos of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa on their map services (do not clearly show which country owns these two archipelagos).

Yandex is known as the “Google of Russia”, although the company was founded in 1997, a year before Google was born. Yandex is the largest search engine in Russia (accounting for 60% of the market share in the country) and the 4th largest in the world.

Like Google, besides its main function as a search engine, Yandex provides many online services, including mapping services, email, translation, video sharing, music, web browser...
