After investing in buying machines many times, in 2015, from the loan program under Decision 68 of the Prime Minister, he continued to borrow 610 million VND from the Agricultural Bank, Hung Nguyen branch, to buy a combine harvester.

Mr. Hung said that not only does he ensure the harvest for his family's fields, he also brings the machine to provide services to communes in the district and Yen Thanh, Do Luong districts, and even to northern provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh... Each harvest like that, after deducting expenses, he still earns 100 million VND in profit, the last 2 harvests (summer-autumn 2015 and winter-spring 2016) earned 200 million VND in profit. According to calculations, after 3 years he will recover his capital.

Lending under Decision 68/2013/QD-TTg on support policies to reduce losses in agriculture has created strong changes in bringing mechanization to the fields, contributing to liberating labor, reducing production costs and increasing income; partly solving the shortage of agricultural labor during the crop season.

Mr. Tran Van Duc - Deputy Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Nghe An branch, said: Up to now, outstanding loans in the province have reached 166.7 billion VND, an increase of 45.7 billion VND (38%) compared to the beginning of the year; the number of customers with outstanding loans is 845 customers, an increase of 180 customers.

Currently, Do Luong is the locality with the largest outstanding loan balance under Decision 68 in the province with 33 billion VND, 261 borrowers. Next is Tan Ky with 25 billion VND, 88 borrowers, Hung Nguyen with 22 billion VND, 91 borrowers, Quynh Luu with 18 billion VND, 50 borrowers with outstanding loans; Thanh Chuong with 14 billion VND, 100 borrowers. However, some mountainous areas such as Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Quy Chau, or some districts and cities with small agricultural land areas such as Thai Hoa, Hoang Mai, Vinh City have no borrowers.
