Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung re-elected Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 24, the People's Council of Nghi Loc district, term XIX, 2016 - 2021, held its first session to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the term XIX.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and standing members of Nghi Loc District Party Committee.

At the meeting, delegates heard the District Election Committee report on the election results and the confirmation of qualifications of 41 District People's Council delegates for the 2016-2021 term and conducted the election of People's Council and People's Committee positions.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Results: Mr. Nguyen Ba Chau - Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX; Mr. Tran Huu Lam - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, continued to be elected as Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Ms. Le Thi Hien - Director of the Center for Population and Family Planning of Nghi Loc district was elected as Vice Chairman of the People's Council, term XIX; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district for the 2011 - 2016 term continued to be elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term; Mr. and Mrs. Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2011 - 2016 term: Nguyen Thanh Hai, Tran Thi Anh Tuyet, Nguyen Duc Tho continued to be elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2016 - 2021 term.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chau - Chairman of the District People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and leaders of the District People's Committee, spoke, promising to devote all their abilities and capacities to successfully completing the tasks assigned by the District People's Council and voters.
