Yamaha Exciter 150 adds a purple-gray color option.

Yamaha's popular manual transmission motorcycle now comes in a greyish-purple color option in the Malaysian market, priced at approximately US$2,020.

With the arrival of the Honda Winner, despite not having significant technical upgrades, Yamaha recently released new color versions of the Exciter to attract more consumer attention.

After the matte black version (Matte Black)In Vietnam, the Y15ZR (another name for the Exciter) has an additional gray-purple decal set in Malaysia. This decal color replaces the black version, which will be discontinued in Malaysia by the end of 2016.

The design and engine remain unchanged in the new color version. The bike is equipped with a 149.7cc single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the bike achieves a power output of 15.4 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
