Nghe An: Soon bring national grid electricity to remote villages without electricity
(Baonghean.vn) - Voters requested the electricity sector to soon bring national grid electricity to 4 villages without electricity in Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau district, including Don village, Xon village and 2 Tan villages, to serve the daily life and production needs of the people.
Regarding this issue, the relevant authorities responded as follows:
Nghe An Electricity Company is implementing a project to supply electricity to rural areas from the national grid with a scale of investment in building a medium and low voltage grid to supply electricity to 233 villages and hamlets in 54 communes in 08 districts of Nghe An province.

Total investment: 782,211,761,000 VND (Phase 2014-2016: 206,533,022,000 VND; Phase 2017-2020: 575,678,739,000 VND). |
Currently, phase 1 has completed power supply to the centers of 16/16 communes, completing 100% of the assigned plan on schedule.

Don village, Xon village and 2 Tan villages of Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau district are in phase 2 of the project. Nghe An Electricity Company is completing the design documents of phase 2 to submit to the Northern Electricity Corporation for approval to start implementation in the first quarter of 2017.
