Putin writes judo book for Russian students

In Russia, primary school children can receive a book on judo, one of whose co-authors is President Vladimir Putin.

The book titled "The Art of Judo - from Game to Mastery" will contribute to the popularization of this martial art and promote a healthy lifestyle.

According to the director of the "Education" publishing house Vladimir Uzun, the book will be distributed to 7 million Russian schoolchildren. The authors of the book are Vladimir Putin, Arkady Rotenberg, Dmitry Chernykh and Alexei Levitsky.

President Vladimir Putin is known for being a skilled sportsman. In early 2016, he trained with the Russian Olympic team in judo.
