Four years ago, Ngan graduated from Long Kien High School (Cho Moi District) and registered for the A block entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry. Luck did not smile on this male student as he lacked the university entrance score. Ngan stayed home and helped his parents.

In September 2013, Ngan enlisted as a conscript soldier, working at the Mobile Police Department (An Giang Provincial Police). For nearly three years, he has had many memories when assisting the provincial police in solving many smuggling and drug cases. "Becoming a police officer has been my long-time dream. After several years of serving in the industry, I love my job even more," the male student confided.

Quite sparing when talking about his study secrets, he shared: "To get a high score in History, I read a lot of books and newspapers. I read newspapers almost every day to update my knowledge, helping me do better related questions. A score of 10 in History is the result of careful preparation but also a small part of luck."

In the near future, Ngan is expected to apply to the People's Public Security Academy (Hanoi) with the wish to serve long-term in the police force.
