In what is considered the most important speech of her 25-year career in the public eye, Mrs. Clinton will convey a message to promote her campaign to defeat Republican candidate Donald Trump in the election on November 8.

According to excerpts from her upcoming speech, Clinton will accept the Democratic nomination: “America is once again at a moment of reckoning. Powerful forces are threatening to tear us apart. Relationships of trust and respect are being stripped away.”

“We clearly see what our country is facing. But we are not afraid. We will rise to the challenge, as we always have,” she said.

Clinton will assert her “primary mission” is to create more opportunity and stable jobs with rising wages, and face difficult choices in the fight against “threats and chaos” in the world and at home.

“There is no doubt people are anxious and looking for reassurance – looking for solid leadership,” she said.

The speech was Clinton's turn in the spotlight three days after President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama, powerful voices in the party, praised Clinton and noted that Trump would be a dangerous and divisive choice.
