In the first 6 months of the year, in addition to continuing to focus on improving the quality of publications, Nghe An Newspaper also organized the publication of 3 special publications: New Year's Day, Spring newspaper, and the issue celebrating the Southern Liberation Day on April 30.

The newspaper has also coordinated to build 4 websites in 4 units: Cua Lo, Do Luong, Con Cuong and Truong Phuong Hoang.

The work of receiving, investigating, verifying complaints, denunciations, reflections and recommendations from the people continues to be maintained effectively. Out of a total of 96 received complaints and cases, 57 were verified or transferred to competent authorities for resolution. Nearly 200 pieces of information were received via the hotline, helping competent authorities to promptly handle the situation.

Coordinated with Trong Hai Law Office to advise nearly 40 citizens who came to the editorial office in need of legal assistance. Social work by organizing visits and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; families with meritorious services; poor families with tens of millions of VND. Officials and civil servants of the editorial office also supported journalist Nguyen Bang, working at Long An Newspaper, who suffered from a serious illness with more than 37 million VND....

The conference also discussed key tasks for the last 6 months of 2016, including continuing to focus on improving the quality of printed and electronic publications; launching an emulation movement to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Nghe An Newspaper.
